Heartland Symphony Orchestra is hosting a new event this month at Sprout in Little Falls. The Fall Food Festival will be held Sunday, September 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and will include a food demonstration of handmade pasta and music by Sully Gwost and Kalli Sobania, local musicians and former players with Heartland Symphony Orchestra.
Growers, eaters, creatives, and economic developers together established Sprout in 2012. They believed that food, art, and culture are core and integrated in the promotion of health, sustainability, and vitality of a community. Heartland Symphony Orchestra believes its mission is to provide quality musical experiences in Central Minnesota for community members, both as participants and audience.
HSO board members Doug Larsen, Pat Makepeace and Peter Vogel have put together the recipe for this event which includes two hours of great food, delightful music and warm community fellowship. Tickets are $50 and include a season ticket to three concerts.
The Fall concert, held in Little Falls on October 12 will also include members of the St. Francis Music Center Orchestra playing side-by-side with members of HSO. Both young students and adults enjoy playing with Heartland Symphony Orchestra as it provides for them the unparalleled opportunity to perform with experienced musicians under the direction of highly skilled conductors.
Proceeds from this fundraiser go to support the concerts of the Heartland Symphony Orchestra. For additional information call 1-800-826-1997 or email [email protected].
